The Expendables, a Comedy

What a glorious merge of 9 huge egos. I have this sneaky suspicion that each big name actor had a requirement for a specific number of close ups, and they had so little time to fit them all in, that they just started sticking them anywhere. Often in place of dramatic pauses with no fulfilling emphasis, on anything. Just awkward staring.

The six different plot lines were all more ridiculous then the previous. Stallone’s character was the most pathetic with the way he chased that girl back to South America, and wait? Didn’t they just meet? Yang needs money, for his family. Lee’s love interest is expected to take him back because he’s Jason Stathom, and why wouldn’t she…

I kept waiting for some epic one liners and amazing action scenes, but it was just comedy.
