My name is Amanda Perry. I came from Michigan and migrated to Chicago during college.

I’m a recreational gamer. I host a video podcast called Pixels and Popcorn with Kent Mages and Tim Lyons. I like Action Adventure, RPGs, racing, fighters and shooters like  Halo, Gears and Crysis, mostly ones where you’re not actually shooting people, but I’m a terrible aim…

I studied graphic design in college so I have the basic skills and techniques. I worked in a small, large format print shop for 4 years so I know a whole lot about printing and problem solving.

I grew up being classified as a dork or a geek by most other kids. It never really bothered me and now they think I’m cool because of it. I like computers and I like learning. I like sci-fi and fantasy.

I love food. I’d like to classify myself as a foodie, yet I don’t know if there is an actual list of qualifications. But I appreciate good ingredients and the work that goes into preparation. I’m not picky. I love to cook myself when I have time. I learned most of what I know from my Dad who is a professional Chef and my Mom who is a health conscious loving Mother.
